Custom Panel Design – Part of our Crowd Sourced Panels
This kit is one of those that has a very distinct feeling to it. At first glance it looks like most other panels around, but if you look closely you will see that there are subtle but important differences. It is a fully custom design with the main goal of not cutting the rear sub-panel. It was also requested that it fits a specific model of an Eaton Bussmann fuse box. These requests resulted on a panel with its components located of-center and biased towards the pilot. We are very happy of how it all came together.
The design revolved around the following requests:
- Must accommodate a bussmann fuse box
- Must accommodate the following Dynon Equipment:
- 2x 10″ HDX
- 2x COM Panels
- Knob Panel
- Intercom/Audio Panel
- Auto Pilot Panel
- Auto Pilot Disconnect Switch
- Provisions for an Altex ELT switch, USB Charger
- Must accommodate a Garmin GPS175

This is a simple design with lots of functionality. Very simple to put together and easy to tweak if required.
